Second leg of the Grand Tour

After we stopped off at Dad's for a few days, we went up to John and Christy's in Yuba City, CA. We had a fabulous time...in fact, we had such a great time I forgot to take a lot of pictures. However, I did manage to document probably the best time we had our whole trip. Thanks to Christy and her ever ingenious ideas, I present to you our "Hair-rific" trip to the ice cream parlour:

Supposedly there was a mom and pop shop that made the best bubble gum ice cream near Christy's house. Christy thought it would be a perfect opportunity to go get ice cream and prove it's worthy title of "best ice cream" but the catch was we all had to wear facial hair. Facial hair you ask? Why yes...by going to the local market and buying it from a vending machine as demonstrated by Jonas.

My personal favorites are Christy and baby Lewis who totally looks like Mr. Belvedere or Tom Selek...take your pick. After we put the hair on the kids, they quickly removed them...except for Jonas who then proceeded to put all of the hair pieces on. But all the kids did enjoy their ice cream...which I have to admit, was pretty darn good, except for the whole making your poop grean thing.

And last but not least my all time favorite picture...until I looked closely at Nate...

Playing at Dean & Bev's

One of the days we were with Christy we went up to her parents house to play with Drew's birthday present. It was quite the task to blow up...

Once we had it blown up the kids had a blast playing outside with it.

Lewis, who is not a baby anymore!

Lily and her beautiful curls.

They even got to blow bubbles...

I can't even begin to thank you enough John and Christy for the wonderful time we had. It is so great to have friends for siblings. I love you and can't wait to see you in 2 months...let the countdown begin!
